Built in 1928 (by local contractor Charles Davis) for concessionaires Clarence and Bea Rhodes, the one-room cabin helped house and serve early Lehman Caves visitors. Nevada later acquired the Rhodes facilities and donated them to the National Park Service; during the 1930s the cabin even housed park staff. It’s among the few surviving structures from that era and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
