Trail guide
Hot Springs Trail is a 2 km one-way walk from H Loop at Redstreak Campground to Radium Hot Springs Pools. It passes through cool, wet forest and by viewpoints. This is a point-to-point route, not a loop: allow about 1.5 hours for a return walk, or 4 km if you turn around at the Pools.
The route is rated easy, but the one-way figures are 195 m of ascent and 215 m of descent. It is not a flat campground stroll, and reversing the route adds another climb. Leave time to pause at the viewpoints before heading back.
You can start at H Loop or at the Pools. H Loop is the campground access; the Pools end has its own parking area. Dogs are permitted on leash.
For a bigger outing, combine Hot Springs with the separate Sinclair Canyon Trail. The full circuit is estimated at 3 hours; Hot Springs Trail on its own goes between the campground and the Pools.
