Bundeena Wharf is the compact passenger pier where the Cronulla to Bundeena ferry lands, a practical gateway to Royal National Park's Jibbon area. The crossing takes about 20 minutes. This is a working landing, not a place to spend long unless you're boarding or setting out on foot.

Walk on to JibbonFor ferry passengers, the 5 km Jibbon Loop starts and finishes here.

For ferry passengers, the 5 km Jibbon Loop starts and finishes here. It's an easy walk of about two hours. Follow Brighton Street up from the wharf and turn left onto Loftus Street; Jibbon Beach is about a 15-minute walk away. The loop passes a shell midden around 3,000 years old and Dharawal engravings of whales and kangaroos.

Use the reserve next doorBundeena Memorial Reserve adjoins the wharf and Horderns Beach.

Bundeena Memorial Reserve adjoins the wharf and Horderns Beach. Its car park and public amenities block are on the corner of Brighton and Loftus streets, with accessible and ambulant toilets, a bubbler and picnic shelters. The reserve also holds the Bundeena and Maianbar War Memorial, including its First World War honour roll. Ferry timetables change by season, so check departures before setting out.
