Quarry Trail is a one-way woodland connector from across the road by Blackwoods Campground’s check-in station to Otter Cove at the Park Loop Road causeway. It is about 0.52 mile one way, dropping roughly 115 feet; allow around 20 minutes downhill. It makes most sense if you are camping at Blackwoods or connecting with the coastal trails. Walk back the same way for about a one-mile outing, with an uphill return.

The first tenth of a mile follows an open utility corridor before the path turns into evergreen woods. Most of the walk is on graded gravel, with a short, steeper stepped descent near the cove. Much of the path follows an old quarry road. Watch for moss, lichen, and an old stone-lined well among the trees.
