Keleman Point Farm is a roughly 48-acre working farm on Akron Peninsula Road, just north of Bolanz Road near Everett. Its self-serve roadside market is a useful detour if you want farm goods; this is a market visit, not an open farm tour. The stand is described as year-round, but stock changes with the season. Bring cash or use Venmo to pay.

Offerings include eggs, beef, pork, heritage-breed turkeys, seasonal produce, honey, jams and baked goods. The farm also lists handmade and apothecary goods. It’s a stop for products to take with you rather than a sit-down meal, and there isn’t one dependable signature item to plan around. Check current stock before making a special detour for something specific.

A dairy farm before the marketThe Point family farmed here from 1857 to 1940. Nathanial Point Sr.

The Point family farmed here from 1857 to 1940. Nathanial Point Sr. started with three or four cows and built a dairy operation that also raised livestock, vegetables and grain. Canal and railroad connections carried dairy products to Akron. A Point descendant later recalled milk cans making the trip to the depot by horse-drawn wagon, and a stone milk house that kept milk cool before refrigeration.

After the Point family left, Hungarian immigrant Daniel Biro bought the property and continued farming. The park later acquired the historic farm and rehabilitated it as part of its Countryside Initiative. Keleman Point Farm is one of the park’s leased farm operations, keeping agriculture part of the valley’s working landscape.

Animals are a bonusThe farm raises Tennessee fainting goats, along with other livestock.

The farm raises Tennessee fainting goats, along with other livestock. Animals may graze in pastures along the road, but their location changes, so don’t count on a sighting. The market doesn’t grant general access to barns or animal areas; farm events are announced separately, and livestock sales are by appointment.

Access and practicalitiesThe address is 4570 Akron Peninsula Road.

The address is 4570 Akron Peninsula Road. Park farms commonly have gravel, dirt or turf parking and paths that can get muddy; most are not wheelchair accessible. No farm-specific public restroom, drinking water, accessible parking or EV charging details were found, so don’t assume those facilities are available here.
