Trail guide
From the informal parking at the west end of Robyn Road, follow the signed access to the walking track and climb to Ocean View Lookout. Return the same way. The mapped path is about 600 m one way; including the short access from the road end, allow roughly 0.85 mi (1.37 km) round trip and about 45 minutes. The climb is short but steep in places, with steps.
This listing maps the Robyn Road out-and-back to the lookout. Walk notes also describe a 1.5 km circuit that returns by a firebreak, but that connector is not established in the mapped route here. Follow local signs if you want to check whether that loop is open and clearly marked; the saved line shows the out-and-back only.
The track passes through Drooping Sheoaks before opening into wind-shaped eucalypts and coastal heath. In season, look for Silver Banksia, Common Heath, Cypress Daisy-bush and Green Correa. Ploughshare Wattle is noted for flowering in June. A seat near the start gives an early coastal view framed by sheoaks.
The lookout opens onto a broad sweep of coast from Aireys Inlet toward Lorne, with the Great Ocean Road and beaches below. This short walk is a good fit when you want a substantial coastal view without taking on the longer circuit from Moggs Creek Picnic Ground.
