Use Arrowhead Trails Parking off Arrowhead Road, the shared lot for the network. The measured LeCroy line begins at Point O on Kaymoor Road, so the approach from the lot is extra; no connector distance or designated parking at Point O is posted.

Safety

The narrow tread, tight turns, rocky patches and natural rock bridge need careful footing, and riders share the trail. Dogs are allowed on a physical leash no longer than 6 feet. There is no drinking water at trailheads.

Hiking LeCroy Trail

Make a return planLeCroy Trail is a 1.

LeCroy Trail is a 1.8-mile point-to-point line through the Arrowhead hike-and-bike system, from Point O on Kaymoor Road to Point L. The distance is one way, and the route is rated intermediate. It isn’t a loop: retracing the trail makes a 3.6-mile outing, while any alternate return uses other routes in the network. Either choice adds the approach from the shared lot. A hiking time isn’t published; allow about 1 hour 15 minutes for the one-way line itself, then add access and return time.

Narrow, rolling treadThe tread is only about 20–24 inches wide.

The tread is only about 20–24 inches wide. From Point O it drops down a hill, then rolls through sweeping turns, tight corners and small rocky patches. A natural rock bridge over a small drainage is the route’s trickiest feature. This is also a mountain-bike trail, so expect to share its narrow line with riders.

At Points K and J, the connector between LeCroy and Dalton runs through a tunnel of rhododendron. The numbered posts matter here: a turn toward Dalton extends the outing beyond LeCroy’s one-way line.

Arrowhead is a stacked-loop trail system built in 2011 with help from more than 1,000 Order of the Arrow volunteers, whose work contributed 78,544 volunteer hours. LeCroy is one of the named routes in that network.
