Weaver Point is a 16-site backcountry campground on Lake Chelan, across from Stehekin Landing. It isn't a drive-up stop: arrive by boat from Stehekin Landing or hike the 3.5-mile Stehekin River Trail from mid-valley. No backcountry permit or reservation is required; sites are first come, first served. Motorboats using the dock need a federal dock permit from May 1 through October 31.

The dock is removed each fall and reinstalled early in summer after Lake Chelan reaches 1,096 feet. Below that level, boat access to the camps may not be possible. Check the current lake level and dock status before planning a boat trip; the 3.5-mile trail is the other way in.
