Rainforest Trail B is the separate 1 km loop through coastal temperate rainforest on the ocean side of Highway 4. Parks Canada rates it moderate; plan about 30 minutes for the loop, with extra time for the interpretive decks. From the back of the lot, a short gravel approach reaches the boardwalk. At the first junction, follow B into the forest; the route descends and climbs through ravines before returning to the junction and the lot. It does not reach a beach.

Most of the route is an approximately 80 cm boardwalk, with some gravel. There are many staircases and box steps up and down the ravines, so the short distance still involves frequent climbing and is not step-free. Handrails are on stairs and elevated sections. Wide decks with interpretive panels are natural places to pause; look into the canopy for birds among the western red cedars and western hemlocks, and listen for trickling water.
