More about Vereker Outlook

The climb and the viewThe track passes through open banksia woodland and grasstrees before climbing to the rocks.

The track passes through open banksia woodland and grasstrees before climbing to the rocks. It is graded 3 and steep, so expect a real uphill walk rather than a gentle wander. At the top, look across the landscape toward the inlet and coast. For a photo, put one of the balanced boulders in the foreground with the open landscape behind; the rock shapes are the reason to come here.

Continue to Millers LandingIf you have energy for more walking, a link track continues to Millers Landing on Corner Inlet.

If you have energy for more walking, a link track continues to Millers Landing on Corner Inlet. The low-gradient path leads to mangroves at the southern end of their range, and at low tide crabs forage across the mudflats. Start at Five Mile Carpark, reached from Promontory Road via Five Mile Track. There are no facilities on the walk. Slippery rocks, falling limbs and unprotected cliffs are hazards, so keep back from the edges. Pets aren't allowed; assistance dogs have separate entry requirements.
