Hiking Pinnacle Trail
The routeThis is an out-and-back of about 1.
This is an out-and-back of about 1.4 miles total, including the summit and the north and south overlook spurs, with roughly 250 feet of elevation gain from the upper level of Craggy Dome Parking Overlook near milepost 364.6. The trail reaches a three-way junction below the summit; the complete visitor itinerary backtracks at that junction to reach each overlook rather than connecting separate spurs with an invented shortcut. Expect a rocky path with built stone steps and a few narrow sections. Most hikers take about 45 minutes round-trip, plus time at the overlooks.
