Gulf Coast Camping Restrictions at Hog Key and Pavilion Key

Current Everglades National Park conditions say the middle of Hog Key is closed and the interior of Pavilion Key is closed to protect vulnerable resources. East Everglades Day Use Area Closed

East Everglades Day Use Area remains closed to all public use. The closure covers SW 168 Street westbound to SW 237 Avenue, including the entire SW 237 Avenue roadway, due to construction operations with heavy machinery. Halfway Creek Partial Closure

Halfway Creek is accessible from Sea Grape Drive in Big Cypress south to the HC1 marker, but through-trips must turn west at HC3 / L15 and follow the L markers. The section from L3 to L1 is impassable. See Current Alerts and Conditions and Canoe and Kayak Trails.Official details
