Guide
Pickerel Cove Campground is a one-site, tent-only backcountry camp on Isle Royale's north shore. It is a planned overnight for paddlers, with canoe or kayak access and no boat dock. There is only one tent site, so it suits a route that already passes through the cove.
The site has an outhouse, a picnic table and a food-storage locker available year-round. Its water source is non-potable; collect, filter and chemically treat water before drinking. There is no camp store, cell service or internet, so bring your supplies and plan to be offline.
