Hiking Daisy Farm Trail
From Daisy Farm to the ridgeDaisy Farm Trail is a 1.
Daisy Farm Trail is a 1.7-mile, one-way connector from Daisy Farm Campground to Greenstone Ridge. It follows wooded, uneven ground through beaver wetland, then climbs at a steady grade; allow about 1–1.5 hours to reach the ridge. The top brings views across Isle Royale’s eastern side. Walking back the same way makes a 3.4-mile round trip. The separate Daisy Farm Triangle is about 5.1 miles and adds Mount Ojibway Trail plus part of Greenstone Ridge.

Long wooden boardwalks cross the wetland, including a stretch over a beaver pond. The boards can be slippery when wet, and beaver activity can flood the route, so expect slower footing after rain. The boardwalk is the walk’s standout scene: look down its narrow planks with wetland water and trees on both sides.

The campground has shelters, food lockers, seasonal vault toilets, and non-potable water, but no store. Pets aren’t allowed on Isle Royale.
