“Salt Pond Bay's parking area is coming up, with a rocky quarter-mile walk down to the beach. The sandy middle gives you a gentle water entry, while the rocky edges are the more interesting snorkeling.”

Blue Cobblestone Beach is a small, stone-covered shore on the west side of Ram Hill, reached about 0.5 mi (0.8 km) from Salt Pond Bay along the Ram Head Trail. It is an intermediate pause on the way to Ram Head, not the sandy bay at the trailhead. The exposed approach has little shade; bring water and sun protection and avoid the hottest part of the day. The cobbles make walking at the water’s edge uneven, and the rocky entry and variable water make this a poor choice if easy swimming is your priority.

Rounded stones run to the waterline, with a large boulder and small cobbles framing the shore. Visitors describe the wet stones as taking on a jade cast and water washing across them as making a low, distinctive sound. Stop to look and listen rather than expecting a stretch of soft sand.

The trail crosses the beach and climbs steeply again from its south end; the final ascent to Ram Head is about 0.4 mi (0.6 km). Parking for the walk is at Salt Pond Bay, shared with visitors heading to Salt Pond Beach and the Drunk Bay Trail. Treat this as a hike stop: facilities at the rocky shore itself were not confirmed.
