Zapatilla de la Reina

Zapatilla de la Reina is a small rock outcrop with the profile of a woman's high-heeled shoe. The viewpoint sits at kilometer 50.5 on TF-21, followed by about 100 m on foot, so it is a quick roadside stop rather than a hike. Come for the odd silhouette and the view toward Teide.

Different forces of erosion, working in the area's harsh climate, shaped this cluster of stones into the heel-and-toe silhouette. The name comes from its resemblance to a high-heeled shoe.

There is a roadside stopping area, though its capacity is unclear. Expect rough footing on the short approach; accessibility details beyond the 100 m distance are limited.
