Two Medicine Lake and South Shore“Two Medicine Lake is ahead, with Sinopah Mountain rising across the water. You can enjoy that view from the developed shore without taking on a big hike, so I’d stop here even for a short visit.”

Guide
Paradise Point is a small beach on Two Medicine Lake, reached by a 0.6-mile walk from the South Shore Trailhead behind the boat rental office. That makes it 1.2 miles round trip. The trail has just 88 feet of gain and 84 feet of loss, so it’s an easy side trip if you want lakeshore time without committing to a longer hike.
The beach sits on a narrow point with limited room to stand. It’s a nice place to pause by the water, but the tip can feel crowded when several groups arrive. Think of it as a short lakeshore break rather than a place to spread out for the afternoon.
Rising Wolf Mountain stands across the water, with Mount Helen and Lone Walker Mountain to its left. Two Medicine Lake is glacially fed and about two miles long, so even this small beach opens onto a broad stretch of water framed by peaks.
From the shore, keep some of the rocky waterline in the foreground and let the mountains fill the far side of the frame. On a calm morning the lake can catch clear reflections. A seasonal restroom is listed for this stop.
