Rockwell Falls is a pair of cascades in Glacier’s Two Medicine valley, reached from the South Shore Trailhead. The route is 3.5 miles each way with 375 feet of elevation gain, so this is a seven-mile out-and-back with relatively little climbing. Make the full walk when a waterfall is worth a substantial part of your day; the grade is modest, but the distance is real.

The main cascade comes into view near the end of the walk, just beyond the Paradise Creek bridge. A second fall of similar height lies roughly 100 feet behind it and is partly screened by trees, so the scene reads as layered cascades rather than one tall plunge. For a photo, start from the trail-side view by the bridge and keep some water at the base in frame; the upper fall is a partly hidden bonus.

From the shore of Two Medicine Lake, the route passes through forest and meadow, then by beaver ponds before crossing Paradise Creek on a bridge. Moose are reported around the ponds, especially in the morning and late afternoon, but treat a sighting as a possible bonus rather than a promise. The bridge is a useful marker: the main waterfall view is just beyond it.
