I'd choose it for an overnight stay with a group that wants its own place inside the park; this is a bookable stay, not a day-use attraction.

This is self-catering accommodation, with a full kitchen, gas barbecue, drinking water, hot shower, flush toilet and parking. Stock up in Sutherland or Engadine before you arrive; Audley Dance Hall Café is a separate stop for coffee and refreshments. The cottage gate is beside the Youthworks entrance; use the cottage gate and don't enter Youthworks property. Ask the managers for the boom-gate PIN if you arrive outside gate hours. They can also arrange a pickup from Sutherland Station if you request it at least 48 hours ahead.
