Guide
The National Park Information Point at Kühroint-Alm is a free, unstaffed exhibition about forest habitat, set at about 1,400 m. It makes a good short stop if you’re already visiting the pasture; the exhibit itself is small, so think of it as a bit of context for the trip rather than a full visitor center.
The small exhibit looks at the forest habitat, including the bark beetle’s role in the forest life cycle and forest management in the park’s maintenance zone. It’s a concise way to understand the ecology behind the woods around Kühroint, rather than another viewpoint or a staffed information service.
