From Gordon Falls picnic area, this out-and-back descends through rainforest to Pool of Siloam, crosses Gordon Creek on stepping stones and climbs to Golf Links lookout. The full return is 1.6 km, and the official estimate allows up to an hour. It is short but stair-heavy: you'll climb back out the way you came.

Down to the poolThe signed track drops quickly on many steps through sheltered rainforest.

The signed track drops quickly on many steps through sheltered rainforest. At the bottom, Gordon Creek spills over layered rock into the small pool. Follow the route across the stepping stones and up the far side. If you turn back at the pool, the shorter out-and-back is about 0.8 km; Several visitors mention that the climb back can feel tough, so take it steadily.

Finish at the lookoutContinue up to the small fenced platform at Golf Links lookout.

Continue up to the small fenced platform at Golf Links lookout. It opens over Jamison Valley toward Mount Solitary, the Three Sisters and Narrow Neck Plateau. The lookout gives this walk a wide view after the enclosed creek section. Nearby Gordon Falls is a different, much taller waterfall, so don't confuse it with the little cascade at the pool.
