Official details →The Old Rag Trailhead main parking lot is closed to all vehicle and pedestrian traffic; use the existing overflow parking lots to reach the trailhead. - The closure is required for infrastructure enhancements at the main parking lot; work began May 4 and is expected to be completed by November 2026. - Hikers using Old Rag’s Saddle, Ridge, and Ridge Access trails from March 1 through November 30 must obtain an Old Rag day-use ticket online before arriving, in addition to a park entrance pass. Tickets are valid only for the reservation date and do not guarantee a parking spot. Check current park conditions before traveling.
